The Arizona Semantic Test - Free Product from the Aphasia Research Project - University of AZ
The Arizona Semantic Test is a nonverbal test of semantic knowledge requiring pointing responses only. “Show me which of these pictures (point to the 4 pictures on the periphery) goes with this one (point to the item in the middle of the page).” There are two practice items. You can give feedback on those items. Record responses on the form. Tally number correct out of 40.
In addition to improving aphasia treatment and practice, all of the exercises and programs at EverythingSLP address the cognitive underpinnings for speech, language and communication with a focus on semantic cognition. Evidence has clearly demonstrated that improvements in cognitive issues will help improve aphasia and other communication problems.
